Safety switch CTS

Euchner’s new RFID-coded CTS safety switch is equipped with a high locking force 5000 N. The compact safety switch has dimensions of 135 x 31 x 31 mm.

CTS safety switch can be flexibly mounted on sliding doors or hatches with a very small turning radius. A new feature of the CTS safety switch is Flex Function, which allows the coding level (HIGH/LOW) and monitoring function (door or guard lock monitoring) to be configured by selecting a suitable actuator for the safety switch. CTS can be reconfigured for different features by restoring the factory settings.

An escape release is available, allowing the CTS safety switch to be opened from inside the hazardous area. The Flex Function enables the lock to be used and adapted for a wide range of applications, and the escape release can also be retrofitted if needed.

The CTS safety switch is IO-Link compatible with Euchner’s GWY-CB or ESM-CB communication modules.
