Door safety light curtains

The LISENS door light curtain is a non-contact sensor that complements the SENTIR product series to enhance the safety of door applications. The LISENS safety light curtain detects people, vehicles, and objects without contact, providing protection against the risk of entrapment caused by automatic doors for both individuals and equipment. LISENS safety light curtains are suitable for most common door types and can be installed inside or outside the door profile. The concealed installation of LISENS light curtains, for example, in a sectional door or high-speed roll-up door, preserves the aesthetic of the door system while ensuring safe operation at high operating speeds.

LISENS door safery light curtains feature an integrated blanking function, allowing the light curtain to follow the movement of the door and automatically deactivate or activate beams when the door is operated open or closed. When the safety light curtain is properly installed with a blanking function, there is no need to install separate safety devices in the door application, such as optical or pneumatic contact edges and photocells. The LISENS light curtains meet the safety requirements of door standards EN 12978 and EN 12453. LISENS grid door set is designed for automatic doors with a width ranging from a minimum of 1.6 meters to a maximum of 10 meters. The light curtain enables monitoring of the entire protection area up to a height of 2500 mm. LISENS light curtains are compatible with most door control systems. Thanks to continuous self-testing, the system complies with Cat. 2 / PL c standard EN-ISO 13849. Customized safety light curtains can also be implemented for specific customer needs.
