Strain relief
With the LCS 75 PRO, we can now also equip luminaires that require a strain relief. As a result the range of applications for LCS 75 connection solution expands significantly. Strain relief is usually required when using fine-stranded resp. flexible connection cables. For this purpose, we have replaced the sleeve with a strain-relieving cable gland and a separate flat seal.
The holding force of the strain relief exceeds 120 N and therefore fulfils the requirements of the EN 60598 luminaire standard.
Smart connection
The competitive advantage of the LCS 75 PRO lies not only in its product features but also in its installation properties. The easy and quick installation reduces installation costs, with greater savings on larger projects.

Application areas
With the cable gland it achieves IP66/67/68 protection, i.e. the LCS 75 PRO can be used not only for IP66 luminaires, but also for IP67 and IP68 applications (dustproof and water-proof).

The panel mount terminal block built into the housing is the same as in our current LCS 75, which has the advantage that the luminaires equipped with the current LCS 75 can be fitted with a strain relief without any design changes.
Comparison between the standard version LCS 75 and the PRO version
Special feature
A special feature are the two so-called anti-logging grooves on the screw connection. These ensure that no water remains on the seal for a long time after a downpour, even in a vertical installation position, but runs off through these grooves. Water on the seal would inevitably penetrate the luminaire sooner or later.
