Sähkö-Electricity 2026 is a first-time international professional event that brings electrical industry professionals, device manufacturers, and technology solution providers to Helsinki. The event fills Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre’s main halls with 33,000 m² of exhibition space and brings together over 250 exhibitors. Leading industry companies are participating and have also been involved in planning the event.

Who is Sähkö-Electricity for?
The event aims to advance industry development, showcase new solutions, and enable networking. The event is designed for electrical industry professionals: designers, device manufacturers, system integrators, contractors, and industry decision-makers. On display are electrical technology solutions ranging from energy and lighting to automation, from importers and manufacturers to wholesale suppliers. The Helsinki metropolitan area has not previously hosted an electrical industry professional event of this scale, making Sähkö-Electricity a significant addition to industry networking events.
Over the three days, exhibitors will present their solutions for industrial applications, and visitors can discuss technical details, applications, and their projects directly with experts. The event also includes stage programming and a Virtapiiri area for students. As a special feature, a building frame will be constructed in the exhibition hall to demonstrate the latest electrical technology. The event days will conclude with evening programs on Wednesday and Thursday.

DOLD – Insulation Monitoring Devices (IMD)
DOLD insulation monitoring devices are designed for insulation monitoring in IT systems (unearthed/isolated power systems) in demanding applications. The marine type-approved RN5897 series enables the voltage range to be extended up to DC 1760 V / AC 1150 V with a separate coupling unit, supporting high-voltage applications. Two alarm thresholds and an automatic functional test every hour help detect faults early and ensure continuous system operation. The Modbus RTU interface delivers insulation resistance measurement values and diagnostics directly to the control system and also enables device parameterization over Modbus.
DOLD – Residual Current Monitors (RCM)
DOLD residual current monitors reliably detect residual currents and fault currents in earthed AC and DC systems. The new RN 5884 model features two measuring channels that can be monitored simultaneously. Alarm and pre-alarm limits support both fault detection and predictive maintenance needs. The Modbus RTU interface transmits measurement values and diagnostics to the control system and enables remote parameterization. The device also includes wire break detection, a test function, and adjustable switching delays.
Knick – Signal Conditioners and Shunt Resistors
Knick signal conditioners and shunt resistors enable high measurement accuracy and fast response in voltage and current measurement applications. The product range covers measurements from millivolt levels up to 4.8 kV, and via shunt resistors up to 25 kA. High reliability is supported by exceptionally high MTBF values (over 2,000 years) and complemented by a 5-year factory warranty, helping ensure stable long-term operation in demanding environments. The range also includes the SIL2-rated P45000 transducer developed for renewable energy applications, suitable for safety-critical systems and for high-accuracy 500–3000 V DC measurements.
Frizlen – Power Resistors
German manufacturer Frizlen produces power resistors for demanding industrial applications. The portfolio includes braking resistors for frequency converters (VFDs), damping and filter resistors, pre-charge, discharge and load resistors, as well as generator test resistors. Frizlen is known for excellent overload capability, and solutions are available as standard products or as customer-specific designs. Power ratings range from 10 W to 250 kW, with resistor modules and enclosed designs available as fixed or adjustable solutions. Enclosures, cooling concepts, IP ratings, and mounting methods can be implemented to match application requirements.

The ODU-MAC Power Connector provides a modular interconnect solution that combines power and signal connections in a single connector. It is ideal for test systems and OEM applications where quick mating and high operational reliability are required. MINI-SNAP series circular connectors provide reliable connectivity for demanding industrial applications. ODU’s individual contacts are designed to withstand repeated mating cycles and to ensure a consistent, stable contact interface.
