CKS electronic key system

CKS electronic key system combines high-level coded RFID electronic keys with read unit. Together, the CKS read unit, relay module, and coded keys form a safety system that meets the highest requirements for safety locking and control of machines, in accordance with Category 4 / PL e, EN ISO 13849-1.

The coded key is programmed using the read unit’s internal teach-in function, so no external programming is required. The read unit reads and verifies the data of the inserted coded key. If the key is recognized, the safety outputs change. Depending on the application, the coded key can either remain in the read unit or be removed.
