Electronical key-systems

With the Electronic-Key-System, it does not matter if the password is forgotten. EKS is used for electronic access management on PCs and control systems.

In principle EKS is an inductive identification system. The user and user rights of machine, process or control system are recognised with the system. The user has a key with integrated memory chip working without battery. The identification is done with an Electronic-Key adapter which can be connected to the following buses: RS232/RS422, USB or Profibus DB.

The user rights for different levels are easy to define by using keys of different colours. User rights and system are managed by using EKM (Electronic-Key-Manager) software.

For quality assurance in accordance with ISO 9000, it is possible to log accesses and changes when using EKS.
