Supply, Security & Defence Expo (SSD) is a defence and security event held in Tallinn, Estonia, on 10–11 June 2026. The international exhibition brings together companies, authorities and professionals from across the industry. Topics include defence and dual-use technology, supply chain security, energy and emergency services. The programme features an exhibition alongside expert presentations and B2B and B2G networking opportunities.
We are attending the event to showcase ODU military connectors.
Connectors built for the field
Defence applications demand a lot from a connector: it must perform reliably despite vibration, moisture, extreme temperatures, or use with gloves. ODU’s military connector range stands out from traditional solutions in three ways.
The first is weight. The connectors are significantly lighter than comparable solutions, which makes a direct difference in weight-critical applications such as soldier-worn systems and unmanned platforms.
The second is environmental resistance. The connectors are designed for harsh environments and offer protection against pressure and immersion. The ODU AMC® Easy-Clean, for example, is designed for easy cleaning under field conditions.
The third is usability. The locking mechanisms and connector geometry are designed so that mating is possible even in full field kit — without tools or visual confirmation.
The connectors are suitable for ground vehicles, unmanned systems, soldier-worn equipment and special applications.

Fiber optic connectors for field use
ODU’s portfolio also includes fiber optic connectors. Fiber optic is not susceptible to electromagnetic interference, making it a practical choice in modern electronic environments.
ODU’s Expanded Beam Performance technology is based on a contactless design that withstands mechanical stress and frequent mating cycles. The contactless design also reduces the risk of contamination — cleaning is not required under normal conditions. The ODU AMC® Series T, designed for defence and authority applications, combines this with a ruggedized construction and three locking options: Push-Pull, Break-Away and threaded.
